Our charming cottage is the perfect place to experience the wild beauty of this area a breathing space to relax in or for the more energetic a perfect base for walking, surfing fishing, golfing and cycling. And the children will love rock pooling, paddling, crab lining and sandcastle building.
The cottage is all on one floor and sleeps two adults and two children with an open plan living-room with kitchen and dining area, and modern bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and en suite shower-room, Bedroom 2 has twin beds (2'6" wide - suitable for children). A travel cot and high chair are available on request.
Facilities include TV, DVD player, CD player and Wifi internet. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine/drier and dishwasher. Central heating, hot water and electricity are included. We can also provide a travel cot and a high chair. There is garden furniture and barbecue, private parking for 2 cars, and undercover bike storage.
Clean, pure water is from our own private spring water supply, which is fully filtered and tested regularly. When hot water is required, it is efficiently heated by solar panels and biomass boiler.
The cottage has its own garden and barbeque area, offering wonderful views across the fields to the sea and Lundy Island beyond. There is also plenty of outside space in the paddock below the cottage.
On arrival at Peace and Plenty you will find a homemade Devon cream tea awaiting you. Fresh home grown flowers and complimentary toiletries are provided. A basket of logs is provided for the wood burning stove. All towels and linen are included.
As dog-owners ourselves, we are happy to accommodate your own well-behaved dog with you. We ask that you bring it's bed and that you do not allow your pet on the furniture or the beds in the cottage. Please also keep your dog on a lead in the gardens and clean up any little doggy messes.
